Company

Built at KAIST, for the room where it matters.

CorbiT started as an imaging research project at KAIST and is now building MarginX into a product for the operating room.

We're a small team of engineers and researchers who kept running into the same gap: the imaging tools that could answer a surgeon's question in real time simply weren't small enough, fast enough, or built for the sterile field. MarginX is our answer to that gap — literally.

The company motto, “The Answer in the Room,” is also our product spec: if it can't deliver an answer before the patient leaves the table, it isn't finished yet.

What we believe

  • The room is the right place to decide.Every hand-off between the OR and the lab is a delay a patient absorbs.
  • Portable shouldn't mean lesser.Portability is a constraint we design around, not a compromise on image quality.
  • Research should ship.MarginX exists to turn KAIST imaging research into something a surgical team can actually use.
